Algonquin Canoe Trip, May 2004
Campsite on Lake Louisa [1]
The campsite was amazing, with an incredible view of the lake, a fantastic fire pit, lots of soft, flat spaces for tents, and a perfect rocky ledge for swimming from. This would be the perfect campsite for a large group of people to spend a few warm summer days, and I intend to come back again and do just that. Louisa was my destination for this trip, and to celebrate reaching it, I decided to have a little campfire and spend some time relaxing and just thinking about things at sunset.
Unfortunately it began raining no more than a few minutes after I had packed everything up for the night and gotten into my tent. This light rain was, however, the only rain I had the whole trip, and it was overnight, so I can't complain!
